An amateur photographer with most of her work centered around the Atlantic region, Lise has always cultivated a deep love for taking photographs of doors and blinds, preferably with torn down paint by the erosion of time, weather and general use. Most of these come from the forgotton houses and barns on the Isle of Rhé. Mist and winds have gotten the best of their initial colouring. Wood has always held a captivating quality to her, but little by little her eyes (in search of magic shades and strange contours) have been redirected towards the tinted shapes that reveal themselves on metal and concrete. Her preferred print finish is understandably the Dibond Print or Dibond Mounting, which recreate the stunning structure and particular grains of her original studies.
